Liebe Astrid.

Was kann ich sagen über Ural, er ist einfach ein wunderbarer Hund.  Ich hab gar nicht genügend Freunde zum anrufen das ich über ihn Schwärmen kann.  Er hat solch ein tolles Wesen und ist sooo gut erzogen.

Was mich so erstaunt ist wie schnell Ural sich eingewohnt hat.  Es kommt mir vor als ob er schon Jahre bei uns ist und es sind erst 2,5 Tage!  Die Niki ist auch ganz anders geworden.  Sie ist richtig engagiert und interessiert.  Nachdem Jack weg war kam sie noch nocht mal von der Terasse runter.  Ural hat sie wieder lebendig gemacht. 

Ich kann nur Danke sagen.  Ich wusste er hatte etwas im Blick, und scheinbar war er fuer uns perfekt!  Wenn Du dran denkst, koennte ich bitte eine Kopie von den zwei Bildern haben wo er 10 Monate alt war?  Ich werde sie in sein Fotoalbum stecken.  Es ist einfach toll zu denken wie gut das alles gelaufen ist.  Ein wirklich toller Hund!

Alles, alles Liebe!  Wenn Du deinen Kunden in Orlando besuchst, vergiss uns nicht!  Wir wuerden Dich zu gerne sehen und kannst so lange bleiben wie du moechtest, ein Zimmer ist immer frei!  Alle die Ural kennenlernen wuerden ihn am liebsten mit nach Hause nehmen ;o)  Freut mich so das er mir gehoert!!!

I just wanted to let you know Ulme is super! She is very confident.. She is really great...she has great drive for the ball (I love that). I think we will have a lot of fun training.

Hello Astrid,

I think that Nino is a Monster! He is very good in his protection and bite work and is very protective in general. We worked him hard yesterday and he responded like a very good police dog should. He tried to eat us and had a beautiful long send and entrance to the bite. We were hidden sometimes and not at other times, but it did not matter to him. He came at the aggressor very hard and with a full bite. And I mean it was a full bite!!!!! I am very happy with him. I love him!

I certainly will keep you updated...I think that you are a very special person...I mean that you are very honest...And you describe your dogs they way they are...I like that very much...I don't always like the prices...but hey...that's life...But you are very fair...and Fenja and Candy are my very special girls...I mean I've bought dogs from a lot of folks...but to have gotten two girls from the same person with the highest quality...I am in shock...and it's with please that I write this and tell you such good things...Thank you again for both Candy and Fenja...

I can't find anything wrong with this dog...she is absolutely beautiful...and such a great personality and temperament...and yesterday I took her out and walked out onto my training field with 2 kongs on ropes...and when I showed them to her...HER EYES JUST LIT UP...And I threw one and she just took off after it like a dart...Very clear headed...and such a very nice girl...I really like her a lot...

I haven't done any bitework with her yet...but maybe tonight is it doesn't storm...You have sent me 2 of the very nicest females that I could want for...Although I think Fenja has very very nice ball drive...I'm not so sure that it's any better then Candy's...Candy is very serious and will bite you for real...I love the dogs that I've gotten from you and it's always a pleasure doing business with you...I don't know why anyone would even go anywhere else for a dog...Thank you again...and I will send you updates on Fenja as I get to know her better...

Eso is awesome. Already claimed his spot in the house next to my chair. We are off to our village bier garden tomorrow for some public interaction and then to the beach for a long run and a nice swim. I hope he likes this horrible Dutch beer.

Hi Assi,

Just wanted to let you know that Basko is now a SCH III with high honors!!!!!! I went to California to trial him and try to get qualified for the Nationals and he not only was High SCHIII but he was High Trial and High protection with a 98!!!!! He is such a good dog. He is such a wonderful dog and is getting quite the good reputation!   I am very proud of him and we are now on our way to the Nationals. I have a lot of work to do in the next few months to really have him polished and ready to go! But it will be exciting to work towards. He will have a break this next month because it is so hot here and then we will get serious again.  The Nationals are in November in Texas.  Elmar Mannes will be one of the judges. Wish me luck!

I played/worked with Distel a few minutes a couple of times today.  She is great fun to work—she really loves to work.  She has adjusted very quickly.  Right now she is lying on one side of my chair and Apache is on the other side.

I am more than pleased with her.  She is going to be a lot of fun.  She has a great personality with lots of drive.  The two of them should make some great pups next year.

I write you to tell how it is going with Dusty , we is almost ready to take the sch 1. I expects that we can do it en a month ore so..

He is a hard dog. In obedience he has a weary high drive and his protection work is outstanding and in tracking we are working with security and his tempo.

I am weary pliest with him… And I hope that I can show you him one day..

Once again you found a great dog for me that is a perfect match. This is the second dog that I have gotten through you and I cannot thank you enough. You have been searching for two years to find just the right male for me. I have waited, trusting that you would know when you came across the type of male that would suit my style and personality. We have spent so many hours and time together talking about dogs that you knew exactly what I was looking for and what would be a match for me. You passed up many dogs waiting to find just the right one. I appreciate you being so careful and watching out for my best interest.

You are one of the rare people in the world that is completely honest with your friends and clients. I can always depend on you to tell me every detail, good or bad, and because of this you have my complete trust and friendship.

Basko is absolutely everything you said he is. Looks, personality, drive....everything... just like you said. I had to tell you. Emma Peel Vom Tollhaus Received her Schutzhund III title on 6/16/07 taking 2nd place at the trial with Trophy for Highest Obedience Score. We are considering going to the Regionals Next! She is a excellent competitor and great mother, producing 10 stable pups.( I kept 2 from the litter) I just love her to death. She has an on/off switch for the house and work and is the greatest dog for my home and I loved competing with her.

Liebe Frau Labuch,

endlich habe ich es mal geschaft ein Paar Bilder von unserem "Arek" herbeizuzaubern. "Arek" heißt bei mir übrigens "Rex".

So bin ich recht zufrieden mit ihm, auch wenn er mit seinem Nervenkostüm nicht der stärkste ist.

Wir haben letztes Jahr im August die letzte Prüfung abgelegt, und seit dem ist Rex ein ausgebildeter Rauschgiftspürhund.

Er hat auch schon ein paar recht ordentliche Aufgriffe gemacht.

an dieser Stelle möchte ich mich ganz Herzlich bei Dir für die beiden sehr guten Hunde bedanken, Paco und Etzel in der Unterordnung Trieb ohne Ende, Paco ist in der Fährte sehr intensiv, Zielstrebig und sicher, Etzel Sucht schon intensiv und sicher eine SchH 1 Fährte, im Schutzdienst haben wir Paco über Wehrarbeit und mit Beute gut abgesichert auf ein sehr guten Ausbildungsstand, er gibt immer alles, das Revieren ist bei Etzel sehr Zielstrebig, das Verbellen ist sehr Ernsthaft, Aggressiv, und eng am Helfer einfach super, bei der Flucht ist er sehr Schnell, hat sichere und ruhige Griffe, einfach zwei Tolle Hunde.

Hallo Astrid.

At first I will thank you for Dusty. He is an all over great dog, he is now a member of the family and is playing whit my 2 girls, the is weary happy with him and so is he, he is inside the house and is weary clam and nice . I have him with me at work every day this I think he likes he is weary happy for me and is never far from me. We have started training and it is going weary god, in tracking he is doing 500 m. whit out no problems and in obedience he shows a lot of play drive and he knows always where I is, and in protecting work he is a serious dog he Menes it and has hard and powerful grip.

I am so happy for this dog you have sold me .

Hallo Assi!

Ich wollte mich nochmal für diesen tollen Hund bedanken. Aika (Aischa vom Haus Ehrenreich) hat sich wunderbar eingelebt. Sie ist einfach super, genau so wie sie beschrieben war. Extrem triebig, super Nerven und absolut tolle Griffe und Angriffe. Hoffe du machst noch viele Leute mit so tollen Hunden glücklich.

In der Fährte hat sie eine hervorragende Veranlagung und einen absoluten Arbeitswillen. Bei der Unterordnung ist sie unermüdlich mit enormer Grundschnelligkeit und überdurchschnittlichem Spiel und Beutetrieb! Im Schutzdienst besticht sie durch sehr wuchtige Angriffe, mustergültige Griffe und absolute Führigkeit. Bonnie hat ein sicheres Wesen, ist ausgeglichen und sehr Kinderlieb. Ich hoffe du wirst noch viele solcher Hunde vermitteln und andere genauso zufrieden stellen wie ich es bin!!!!

Once again you have outdone your self. You have provided a dog with superior genetics, working abilities, and temparement to me. What can I say, you have always provided the absolute best dogs when I have asked for them, whether a younger dog, adult dog, competition dog etc. People should just get on the "bus" when dealing with someone from Europe on dogs and call you.

Assi you have always outdone yourself. A complete dog is what I demand, top sport, breeding, family pet, and protection dog all wrapped up into one. I first met Astrid Labuch, affectionately known to me as Assi, in May of 2004. She and her friend Roger (a fantastic helper at her club), came to train with our group in Chandler, Arizona, USA, and brought my first dog to me from Germany. Her name is Daika and she is a Sch3 German Shepherd.

I had never had a working dog before, and knew nothing about the sport of Schutzhund. Boy was I in for a workout, both mentally and physically. Daika, being a Sch3 was far smarter than I, and took full advantage of me. It didn't take Daika long to realize that I knew nothing. I would try and try to take my dog to the field and work with her, but couldn't get her to do much of anything. I couldn't even get down the field without tripping and nearly falling. Trying to remember the routine, watch myself, watch the dog, time appropriate corrections, was overwhelming to me. Enter Assi. I marveled at how she would take my dog and get her to perform flawlessly. How I dreamed of doing that.

Over the next couple of weeks, Assi worked with me, the dogs, and the other handlers in our group. What a difference her knowledge of our dogs temperaments, and her training techniques made. I watched and tried to absorb as much as I could in the 2 weeks of their visit, and I tried to apply it as best I could.

Over the next few months, I worked and worked and worked. Using all the advice and training that Assi had shared with me. Assi and Roger came back to the US in November of 2004, and again in February 2006. The intensity of training during those subsequent visits was incredible. Each time they came, I was able to learn more, understand more, and retain more. I believe the difference in my handling abilities is due in great part to Assi's ability to first, read the dog, second, evaluate the handlers strengths and weaknesses, and third and most important, her ability to impart the information needed to achieve the desired result. Knowledge held by a teacher is of no value to a student, if it is not presented in a way that the student is able to understand it, and put it to use. Assi is a master at this. She knows what to say, and when to say it.

Working with my dog over this past year has given me tremendous personal satisfaction. The strides I have made, and my ability to perform with my dog at the Sch3 level I owe to Assi, her knowledge, her dedication, and her infinite patience. If I could say only one thing about Assi that makes her who she is, it is her true love for the dogs and the sport. Assi LOVES the dogs, and we love her!

I can't thank Astrid and her contact enough for bringing Emma to our household. From the time she came off the plane (14 hours) she has always been a stable, confident, girl with very very sound nerves.
